About Me

Sophrologist in Conwy

Hi, I’m Valerie Lewis, a certified Sophrologist based in Conwy, North Wales.

I work with people who are living with stress, chronic pain, tinnitus, and emotional fatigue, many of whom have already tried other approaches but still don’t feel like themselves. My aim is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can reconnect with your body, restore your inner balance, and begin to feel more in control of your life again.

I've been a certified Sophrologist since 2016, specialising in stress management, chronic pain, and cancer support. I work with people of all ages, from children and teenagers to adults and elderly clients, and I tailor every session to suit the individual’s needs, experience, and goals.

Over the years, I’ve supported a wide range of people across the UK. I’ve helped a talented young boxer cope with pressure in the lead-up to the Commonwealth Games in Australia, worked with individuals living with long-term pain who felt “adrift and had tried everything,” and delivered group sessions for stage four cancer patients as part of their emotional support.

I also run group sessions through local councils, libraries, and community wellbeing programmes, as well as tailored wellness days for schools, charities, GP surgeries and organisations.

My background includes years of experience with mind-body practices, including martial arts—where I first discovered the power of breath, posture, and mental focus. Sophrology brought all of that together in a simple, structured way that just made sense. It was gentle, practical, and deeply effective and I knew I wanted to share it with others.

I’m a member of the International Sophrology Federation, and I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing training and development.

You won’t find pressure, perfectionism or jargon here, just genuine support, practical tools, and a calm space to begin something new.

Whether you're looking for support with stress management in Conwy, seeking tinnitus relief, or exploring options for chronic pain management, I’d love to help you find your way forward.
